Jacobite and Redcoat Re-enactment Weekend [Newtonmore]

15 July 2017

Jacobite and Redcoat Re-enactment weekend at Highland Folk Museum, Newtonmore.

It is 1746 and the last Jacobite Rising has ended in a disaster at Culloden. The survivors have scattered and the Prince has taken to the heather. Redcoat soldiers are closing in on the fugitives, in search of the most valuable prize of all: the capture of the Bonnie Prince himself! Come and enjoy a weekend of skirmishes and intrigue and even meet Bonnie Prince Charlie, as Jacobite meets Redcoat.
