The Coastal Heritage of the Highland Region: reflections from SCAPE

Talk by Joanna Hambley

Dingwall Community Centre. Organised by ARCH. Suggested donation £3

SCAPE has been working with the public documenting and investigating the coastal archaeological heritage of Scotland for 20 years. During that time we have learnt an enormous amount about the archaeology; about how coasts change and the drivers of change; and about working with people in projects that make the most of our eroding heritage. Based on data collected by volunteers and the results of some fantastic recent community projects, Joanna Hambley will reflect upon what we have learned about coastal heritage and coastal change in the Highland region, and consider what lies ahead.
