Around every peninsula and sea loch of Atlantic Scotland there are remains of coastal communities that span millennia, waiting to be recorded and uncovered before they vanish into the sea. This talk presents the preliminary results of a coastal survey and archaeological excavation at Loch Ewe, Wester Ross, undertaken in search of the Highland’s prehistoric inhabitants.
