Inverness Young Archaeologists Club is having an open day at Raigmore Community Centre, Inverness, 12-3pm. Come find out about the club (open to 8-15 year olds) and sample some of the activities on offer:

• Eric the Dead Viking workshop
• Make Bronze Age pottery
• Archaeology real and replica handling boxes
• Tours of the reconstructed cairn (moved when the A9 was built nearby)
• Explore aerial photos and what they can tell us - and make your own cropmark
• Pictish design and colouring sheets
