Part of a series of lunchtime events associated with the Inverness Museum exhibition Bringing the Dewar Report to Life. The events are:

‘Bringing the Dewar Report to Life’, Friday 13th July, 1pm – 2pm  Meet Highland Collections’ Archivists and explore original records of Highland life and living.  

'Developments in health care in the last 100 years - do we still need hospitals?',  Friday 20th July, 1pm – 2pm                  

Steve Leslie, Consultant Cardiologist with NHS Highland and Honorary Professor of Cardiology with Stirling University presents a story of the provision of hospital services and illustrate advances in care.  

‘The Hospitals of the Highlands’, Wednesday 25th July, 1pm – 2pm                                      

Jim Leslie, Co-ordinator of the History of Highland Hospitals Project, will deliver an illustrated presentation on the origins and development of 70 Highland poorhouses, fever hospitals, maternity hospitals and asylums.
