Battle of Glen Shiel guided walk.
Come and learn of the “Little Jacobite Rising” of 1719 and the dramatic battle that brought it to an end. Find out about Spanish, Dutch and Swiss involvement and the remains that make the breathtaking site unique in Scotland today. Bring walking boots and waterproofs. Involves a short but steep walk over rough and hilly terrain. Reasonable fitness required. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the National Trust for Scotland ranger office at Morvich Farm where transport will be provided to the site, or meet at the site itself. Advance booking required. Adult £5.00; children free.
