The Woodland Trust’s Ledmore & Migdale woods cover 1700 acres of hill and glen on the north shore of the Dornoch Firth. The forest is a rich and ancient habitat, but at the same time it is a product of man’s interaction with the landscape over thousands of years.Eleanor Garty, the Woodland Trust’s Highland Site Manager and Woodland Creation Adviser, will lead an ‘armchair tour’ through the woods highlighting key stages in their development.
