Climate, Cattle and Caterans: Environmental Change and the Transformation of the Medieval Highlands
Talk by Professor Richard Oram, Stirling University. Using archaeological evidence, historical records and proxy climate data, this talk will explore the impact on the culture and society of the Highlands and Islands of climatic deterioration from around 1250 to 1500.
