Fundraising Workshop [Strathpeffer]

organisation:
ARCH Highland

26 May 2023

At the HighlandHeritage Day held in March, there was some interest in having training open to all. A free two-day workshop on fundraising will take place on Thursday and Friday, 24th and 25th May at the Goods Shed, Strathpeffer. This will be led by Susan Kruse of ARCH, with accommodation provided by The Highland Museum of Childhood (donations appreciated towards venue costs). Places limited, so book quickly to archhighland@googlemail.com or 077888 35466. Preference to people willing to commit to both days,

This practical two-day workshop will cover aspects of how to cost a project and other aspects of designing projects, finding funding sources and then creating systems to allow for monitoring. Day 1 will look at designing and costing your project.  Day 2 will involve matching these ideas to funding sources, and monitoring and reporting. There will be practical examples to work through, but feel free to bring your ideas and use these sessions as a way to start working on your own project – and to share your successes and failures.
