Jim Miller was born and brought up in Caithness but has spent nearly 30 years now in Inverness. He has written several books. His latest “The Gathering Stream: the story of the Moray Firth” has recently been published by Birlinn.

Attending the lecture will also enable participants to visit the ‘Illuminating Inverness’ Exhibition co-curated by local community members, utilising objects and images from the museum's collections, many of which have never been displayed before.
