Britain from Above

Workshop led by  Brian Wilkinson (RCAHMS)

Old Brewery, Cromarty

The Britain from Above project (www.britainfromabove.org.uk) invites you to find out how historic aerial photography can help you research stories about the past. Learn some new web skills, try out a new historic resource in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and take part in a national research project. Britain from Above is an online historical resource of spectacular aerial photos dating from 1919-1953. The project is looking for volunteers to get involved and help identify hundreds of unlocated images as well as share memories and local knowledge. If you have a laptop or tablet bring it along.

Part of the Cromarty Homes and Heritage project. Free, but BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL on rossandcromarch@gmail.com
