Workshop: Get your hands on the Past! [Inverness]

25 June 2013, Starts: 10:00, Ends: 16:00

Get your Hands on the Past!

Tea / coffee and lunch will be provided

Another chance for those who didn't make it to the workshops in May, to come and spend a day with our curators and conservation officer finding out just how we identify, catalogue and care for the many different types of artefacts in our collections. If you are interested in getting behind the scenes at the museum and getting to grips with your heritage, this taster session could be just the thing.

Ever wanted to get behind the scenes at the museum and get your hands on the past? Curious about how museum folk identify, record and care for objects? Interested in finding out about volunteering at IMAG?
Come along and join us for a hands-on 'taster session' and get to grips with just some of the 50,000 objects held in the collections here.

This session is FREE, but booking is essential, as places are limited. Further information and bookings to Cait McCullagh on cait.mccullagh@highlifeland.com or 01463 237114
