Dig: Digging the Clearances [Gleneraig, Assynt]

Monday 28 - Wednesday 30 July

WHERE
Glenleraig Beside the B869. East from Drumbeg, go through Nedd and downhill to cross the head of Loch Nedd, then up the hill and look out for parking spots by the fir trees on the right and further along the road on the left.

WHAT
18th century houses that were abandoned when Glenleraig was cleared in 1812. We want to compare these houses with one that was fully excavated three years ago.

Come and get involved or just see what we´re doing
Come for as much or as little time as you want between 9.30am and 4pm.
Come prepared for bad weather, wet ground and midges - though it might be dry, warm and sunny!
