Exhibition: Highland Story Maps [Culloden]

30 November 2014, Starts: 11:00

The six Story Maps artist John Hodkinson and storyteller Bob Pegg have been making with Highland museums, as part of the High Life Highland *Needed on a Journey* programme and the wider “My heart’s in the highlands” project, will be on display together for one day only, on *St Andrew's Day, Sunday 30th November, at National Trust for Scotland Culloden Visitor Centre. The display will be launched at 11.00 am, after which Bob Pegg will be in attendance for the rest of the day to tell stories from the maps and talk about how they were put together. John Hodkinson will also be there, all the way from Cumbria, to explain the up-to-the -minute digital techniques that were used.

The Story Map display is part of an open day where anyone with an IV or a KW postcode can gain free entry, so a great opportunity not only to see the maps but also to explore this superb Visitor Centre. Best bring some proof of address with you.

The maps are the size of large doors. It really will be something to see them all together for the first, and perhaps the only time.
