 Event organised by Highland Council Countryside Rangers:

Walk out from Torran to Eilean Fladday, a tidal island off the north-west of Raasay. At one time the children of the island used to walk to school in Torran and back as the tide allowed. Changed days indeed! We will explore the abandoned village, hear some of the tales of times past on Fladday and walk out past Loch Mòr towards Uamh nan Daoine (the People's Cave).
