Course: Invergordon in World War I [Invergordon]

organisation:
ARCH Highland

02 July 2015, Starts: 07:00, Ends: 21:30

Invergordon was transformed in World War I, as its population went from c. 1100 to 20,000. Come help discover what happened during this period!

Thursdays starting 25th June for 8 weeks
Invergordon Museum, 7-9:30pm

Come share and listen to memories, stories and knowledge of the buildings, sites and features that are on your doorstep. Everyone is welcome to attend, whether to share memories or to learn about local heritage in the community. We will then look at a wartime plan, old photographs and aerial photographs to identify what still remains and record what has gone.

FREE. Come for one or all of the sessions.

Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
