Anne Fraser, Family Historian at the Highland Archive Centre, reveals the fabulous family histories that lie behind the museum’s collections of World War One medals, photographs, letters, uniforms and ‘trench craft’. Discover the people that populate the Highlands’ Great War story in this informative lunchtime lecture.

Anne’s role includes in depth family history research for customers who visit the Highland Archive Centre through one to one consultations, and the compilation of family trees and reports. She also promotes the archives collections through classes, talks, outreach events and is a qualified trainer in delivering family history workshops. She has an intimate knowledge of Highland family history and the area around Loch Ness where she grew up.
