Kilcoy Prehistoric Cairns

A guided walk taking in some of the Neolithic/Bronze Age cairns at Kilcoy on the Black isle. One of them, Carn Glas, has been ‘adopted’ by three local heritage groups as part of the Adopt-A-Monument project, and the new signboard will be launched with Dr Alison Sheridan, National Museums of Scotland. Meet at Redcastle (old) Station NH 582 511.

Please wear stout footwear and bring waterproofs. It may be a bit boggy in places. Children welcome if accompanied by adults.

Organised by the Carn Glas Adopt-A-Monument group (ARCH, NoSAS and North Kessock and District Local History Society)
