Dingwall Museum has started a book group to read and discuss books relevant to the area.

The first meeting will take place Tuesday 19th December, 2-4pm at Dingwall Library.

The focus will be Norman Macrae's book The Romance of a Royal Burch: Dingwall's Thousand Years. This book was published 100 years ago, and remains a mixture of fact, legend and conjecture. For the session on 19th December, the first three short chapters will be the focus of discussion. These chapters can be read at Dingwall Library where there are several reference copies. However, if you are far from Dingwall, email enquiries@dingwallmuseum.co.uk and ask for a digital copy or, if you do not have access to the computer, a printout.
