A timely talk for this year's International Women's Days celebrations, especially in an election year, Susan Kruse looks at the courageous women and men who campaigned and eventually won the vote for women. Based on community research sessions held over the past years in a variety of locations, Susan will explore some of the issues and people involved. Forget Emmeline Pankhurst and militancy - this was a campaign focussing on constitutional reform.
