Forage Like a Medieval Monk

Children's event for ages 8-14 at Tarbat Discovery Centre. Free but tickets required.

Join 'Stories on Skins' Master Craftsman Thomas Keyes for an afternoon of foraging like the medieval monks did! Thomas will lead a walk around Portmahomack to find ingredients that we will use to make ink and cook herb teas over a hearth the way the Picts would have. We will also make quills and use them to write on real parchment to take home.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, and one adult can accompany up to two children. Please book tickets for all children and adults in group.
