Conference: Far North Line: The passenger's point of view

The Friends of the Far North Line will have its AGM at 11am, followed by the conference which is open to the public. 

The three main speakers are: Robert Gardner, a Chartered Engineer in telecommunications, who will talk about high-speed
broadband on trains using low orbit satellites; Anthony Smith, until recently the Chief Executive of Transport Focus and Roger French OBE, erstwhile Managing Director of Brighton & Hove Buses, but since retirement the writer of a very entertaining and informative blog about his travels all over the UK by public transport.
