As the Highland Heritage Days highlighted, volunteering is an issue that affects all groups and museums This workshop is designed to support heritage groups develop more inclusive volunteer programs. 

At this event, participants will learn how to:

• Explain the benefits of and business case for inclusive volunteering
• Identify barriers to and enablers for volunteering
• Adapt volunteer roles to suit a wider range of people

Format

The workshop will begin with a short introduction to Make Your Mark and the Inclusive Volunteering Toolkit. Participants will then engage in a mix of larger and smaller group discussions to complete tasks and network with each other.
