Since 2019 the National Trust for Scotland Archaeologist Dr Daniel Rhodes has been researching the history and Archaeology of Brodie and hundreds of people of taken part in our annual excavations. Daniel’s talk will look at the historical evidence for the development of Brodie Castle & Estate and discuss what the archaeological remains tell us about how fashion and philosophy influenced the changes from its medieval origins through to the 20th century.
