In his talk, Jim will examine how the MacLeods of Geanies were a family of our region, but one influenced in profound ways by the rest of the world. Discover how the family’s eighteenth-century networks – from the Highlands, to London, to India and the Caribbean – framed their understanding of the world and how colonial wealth and mentalities shaped our region.
