Walk Scatwell / Loch Luichart

Organised by Dingwall Field Club. Non-members welcome for £2 contribution. Meeting place No. 1 Car Park Dingwall, unless previously agreed with Walk Leaders. Walk Leader for this walk is David Taylor 01997 421739. Mixed river and woodland walk. Approx. 2-3 miles

Come prepared and equipped for bad weather and some rough walking.

Please bring a Packed Lunch on Saturday Outings.

Members and guests are asked to follow the leader's instructions. Please stay with the group unless otherwise agreed with the leader.

Any children under 16 must be accompanied by, and under control of, an adult who accepts full responsibility for them and cannot be the  Walk Leader. In the interests of your own safety and that of others, exercise care at all times.

Leaders may, at their discretion, alter or cancel outings (eg bad weather).  Contact the walk leader for anything about outings if you need more information.

No Dogs allowed on any of the Club Outings.

Annual membership of Dingwall Field Club is only £15 per person, or £25 for a couple.  There is normally a charge of £2 per outing for non members.

IMBOLIC Festival and Medieval Fair [Portmahomack] ...

IMBOLIC Festival, with a variety of Pictish activities and Medieval Fair

10am Storytelling (children ages 3-6) at Tarbat Discovery Centre

1pm  Scavenger Hunt (children ages 7-11) at Tarbat Discovery Centre

2:30pm Pictish Graffiti Workshop (for ages 12-16) at Tarbat Discovery Centre

4-5pm Discover Folio #3 and chat with the artist Thomas Keyes about his work at Tarbat Discovery Centre

There will also be a Medieval Fair at the Carnegie Hall, Portmahomack  12-3pm. Discover and try medieval crafts. Dress up as a Pict. Come and play ancient board games. 

The event is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of the Stories on Skins project
