Course: Ardersier Heritage Overview [Ardersier] ...

The courses will be similar to the Community Timeline sessions so popular in the Stop, Look and Listen project. The first part, Ardersier Heritage Overview, will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 19th February to 5th March, 7 - 9:30pm.

 

The second part will provide opportunities to research aspects of Ardersier's past, and will take place on Saturdays 9th- 30th March, to coincide with library opening times.
All courses will take place at The Old School Hall in Ardersier.

Survey: Recording John O'Groats Mill [John O'Groats] ...

 The Prince’s Regeneration Trust (PRT) and the North Highland Initiative (NHI), are starting a new and exciting project at John O’Groats Mill, Caithness. PRT and NHI are embarking on an ambitious plan to bring this disused historic building back into use, for the benefit of the community.

AOC Archaeology Group will be assisting PRT and the NHI in the first phase of this project by surveying and recording the mill from 4th to 8th March 2013. Members of the public are invited to participate.
