This is a fascinating walk back in time to the ice-age where the bones of reindeer, polar bears and even humans were discovered in the caves. Stout footwear is essential.

Workshops and Symposium: Clayfest! [Perthshire] ...

 Confernce of EBUK (Earth Building UK) celebrating the culture of earth buildings

Errol Perthshire

A weeklong festival focussing on earth building, with workshops and seminars. There will be 4 days of workshops covering arrange of techniques including rammed earth, cob, mudwall conservation, clay plasters, turf building, and clay/fibres. The intention is that over a week you can learn about all these skills by doing a different workshops each day, or you could do a deeper delve into a particular technique.

There will also be a turf symposium on Thursday 11th June and conference on Friday 12th June.
