Unearthing the Picts Workshop [Rosemarkie] ...

Hands-on workshop led by Dr. Donna Betts FSAScot, held over two days  organised by Groam House Museum, at 19 High Street, Rosemarkie.  Discover the captivating collections at Groam House as you ‘unearth’ current knowledge about the Picts and explore their impact on who we are today.

Day 1 (April 13th): Explore the museum’s collections, including intricately carved stones from Rosemarkie’s early Christian settlement and uncover the local history that shaped the coastal community; engage your creative side using a variety of art materials and techniques as you ‘unearth’ the Picts and their significance.

Day 2 (April 15th): Complete your art project and connect with others while conveying insights and project outcomes.

No experience needed! Ages 18+

These workshops are offered on a ‘Pay as you Can’ basis. Book once for both sessions.

Places are limited and preparation is significant, so please only book if you plan to attend both sessions.
