Gaelic Development in Museums
Online workshop by Anna MacQuarrie, organised by Museums and Heritage Highlands, free to members, but open to non-menbers for £10. Further details and booking link via MHH website.
This workshop will provide an introduction to working with Gaelic in museums and heritage settings. The session will look at specific examples of where and how Gaelic can fit within museums, covering some dos and don’ts and how to advocate for the language and culture. Anna MacQuarrie currently works as Gaelic Museum Development Officer with four independent Highland museums. Her previous museum experience has included wide-ranging curatorial work, community engagement and contemporary collecting.

Walk around Loch Kinellan
Organised by Dingwall Field Club. Non-members welcome for £2 contribution. Meeting place No. 1 Car Park Dingwall, unless previously agreed with Walk Leaders. Walk Leader for this walk is Bridget Houston 01381 620965. Good paths, small part up and down. Good views. Approx. 2 miles
Come prepared and equipped for bad weather and some rough walking.
Please bring a Packed Lunch on Saturday Outings.
Members and guests are asked to follow the leader's instructions. Please stay with the group unless otherwise agreed with the leader.
Any children under 16 must be accompanied by, and under control of, an adult who accepts full responsibility for them and cannot be the Walk Leader. In the interests of your own safety and that of others, exercise care at all times.
Leaders may, at their discretion, alter or cancel outings (eg bad weather). Contact the walk leader for anything about outings if you need more information.
No Dogs allowed on any of the Club Outings.
Annual membership of Dingwall Field Club is only £15 per person, or £25 for a couple. There is normally a charge of £2 per outing for non members.

The Scottish Witchcraft Trials
Talk by Philip Paris

This talk by Highland-based author Philip Paris will also include the case of Janet Horne from Kintradwell, the last person in Britain to be executed for witchcraft, in Dornoch in 1727.
