Snuff making and snuff taking in Scotland

Inverness Museum and Art Gallery

Dr Eric Grant shares from his research into various collections, including Inverness Museum's own snuff Mulls and Boxes. He will invite us to consider the â€very Scottish habit of insufflating or snuffing smokeless tobacco into the nasal cavity and the elegant objects associated with this once extremely popular habit. An ideal not so rough guide to snuff!
