Workshop: Museum of Childhood Adult classes [Strathpeffer] ...

The Museum of Childhood in Strathpeffer is offering adults the chance to find out about some of Strathpeffer´s history and how the museum uses fact, anecdotes and objects to create an exhibition.

The workshops include an illustrated talk, a museum object-handling session and a skills-sharing activity and will be held on:

Wed 14th Nov: The development of Strathpeffer Spa through the photos of Victorian photographer T Wellwood Maxwell

Wed. 21st Nov: Emigration, and return: Find out about the families and stories of some of Strathpeffer´s grand houses

Wed. 28th Nov: WWII, the home front in Ross-shire “ fascinating oral history stories. Poignant childhood treasures

The workshops are from 2.00 - 4.00 pm and cost £5 each or £12.50 for all three. Refreshments and notes are included
