The Friends of ARCH are a group of supporters who help ARCH in many diverse ways. We rely on our Friends’ donations to help pay for insurance, postage, HAF walks, communications and other mundane but important matters which allow us to continue. In return ARCH organises a special day just for our Friends.
This year we will visit Cromarty on Sunday 23rd June, with a guided tour by Allan Kilpatrick of HES to the South Sutors, a discussion of excavations at East Church and a look at some of the finds from the excavations of the medieval burgh at Cromarty Courthouse Museum. For those with energy still at the end of the day, we’ll do the self-guided slavery tour published by David Alston. To become a Friend — or to renew — contact ARCH on info@archhighland.org.uk or by post. You can pay by cheque, bank transfer or Paypal from our website. Come for all or part of the day.
