Dig: Tarradale Excavation [Muir of Ord] ...

25 July 2024

Starts: 10:00
Ends: 16:30

Excavation for all ages and abilities organised by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (NoSAS). They are continuing to excavate a substantial wall at Tarradale which is most likely a farm building shown on the 1788 map.

All are welcome to volunteer, regardless of experience. We hope this will be a good opportunity to brush up on excavation skills, with less physically demanding roles available for those not wishing to dig.  Contact James McComas if you are interested in attending. Please advise which days you can come and whether you are happy to dig, or would prefer other tasks.
