Join Helmsdale Museum for the first Collection Conversations of the year at Timespan’s Library Lounge. Starting from a series of archival materials and objects, we will talk about Helmsdale’s Seine-Net Queen. This tradition unique to Helmsdale, recognises the role and power of women in the fishing industry.

The first Collection Conversations, happening every other Thursday from 2-3pm.

Collection Conversations are a series of relaxed conversations inspired by objects and archives in the Timespan collection. Happening fortnight on Thursdays 2-3pm in the Library Lounge.
