Event : Shoulder to Shoulder - an intercontinental challenge! [Castletown] ...

A special live event being held by the Castlehill Spinners Group - spinners will be timed against the clock processing a fleece through carding, spinning, and knitting a garment.
But this will be no ordinary fleece - the Castlehill ladies will be spinning and knitting a fleece sent all the way from the Falkland Islands at the same time as the Falklanders process one from Caithness.
Come along to watch and listen to the commentary but don't speak to the spinners and knitters - they need to keep their wits about them, in their attempt to break the record!
