This is the last year of the dig at Birnie near Elgin. Over the past 12 years, the excavations have revealed a wealth of evidence about an important Iron Age settlement, including finds of a number of large round houses, two hoards of Roman silver coins, and evidence of chariots, jewellery and daily life. Well recommended!
