HAF programme now out

The Highland Archaeology Festival programme has hit the streets - and is now available for downloading. As usual it's full of interesting walks, talks and exhibitions happened between the 2nd and 17th of October (with a few before and after). ARCH will be offering 5 events:
- Sunday, 19th September: Tour of Knockfarrel Iron Age Hillfort
- Monday, 4th October: Exploring Carn Irenan Chambered Cairn
- Thursday, 7th October: Walking a Pathway into the Past in Dingwall
- Tuesday, 12th October: Prehistoric Inverness talk
- Thursday, 14th October: A Walk on the Dark Site in Black Rock Gorge, Evanton (with Bob Pegg of Walking the Stories)

One important change: Highland Council will now charge for the 'What's new in Highland Archaeology' seminar on 16th & 17th September, and you must book ahead (with payment) by 14th October. Paper copies of the programme should also be available at libraries, service points etc, or you can request one from the Archaeology Unit.
