UHI launches archaeology degree courses

UHI is launching three new archaeology degree courses in September. Led by Jane Downes and Ingrid Mainland of Orkney College, with a programme team from Orkney, Shetland and Lews Castle Colleges, three programmes are on offer:

  • BA (Hons) in Archaeology
  • joint BA (Hons) degree in Scottish History and Archaeology
  • joint BSc(Hons) degree in Archaeology and Environmental Studies

Some of the staff will be on hand to answer questions about the new degree programmes at a lecture offered by  Dr Ingrid Mainland and James Moore on ''Of Moors and Mice:Landscape, Archaeology and Animals in Iron Age Orkney'' in two locations:

* Wednesday 8th June, 7pm at Strathpeffer Community Centre
* Thursday 9th June, 7pm at Inverness College.
