Excavation Supervisor Wanted

ARCH are advertising a post for an excavation supervisor for our upcoming project Delve into the Past. This project is examining a possible medieval motte site at Foulis, near Evanton. The project also hopes to investigate the existence and nature of an old routeway that runs through the region. The post is for 14 days between 8th-24th July 2011 and will involve supervising community participants and training them in excavation and recording techniques. The post will also involve assissting the ARCH project officer with the general running of the excavation and upkeep of site records. For more information on the responsibilities and duties the post will require please see the post brief in the Library (Foulis Excavation Documents folder).
The working day will last approx 9am - 5.30pm and the rate of pay is £120/day. Participants will be on site c.10-4pm each day.
